Seniors Art Group

Wednesdays 1pm to 3pm

The group meets weekly on Wednesdays and it is a space to make friends, have fun creating artworks, to experiment and produce your own original work.

Is the Senior Group for me?

If you are over the age of 55 and interested in art then this is the group for you.

We ask for £3 a week to help cover the costs of the group.

What do we do?

This is a fun group that tries out various arts and craft techniques. Cuppas are very important as is chatting and making friends.

We try out all sorts of things including:

painting, drawing, printmaking, needle felting, fused glass, glass mosaics, clay, community arts projects, you name it we will give it a go.

It is a relatively small group so you will need to check if a space is available.

The sessions are run by a range of volunteers all with different types of art they enjoy from a photographer, painter, pastel artist, textile artist so be prepared!

All materials and the important cuppa and biscuits are supplied.
