Artworks Art4All CIC... where creativity flourishes

Unleashing artistic potential in Barrow In Furness, Cumbria. Embracing diversity and inclusion through art. Join us in Suite 7, Furness House for a vibrant art experience.

What we do

We are a volunteer-run not for profit CIC. Our aim is to help improve the mental health and wellbeing of people in Furness. Our emphasis is on those who are economically, socially or culturally deprived. We engage with people suffering from mental ill health, isolation and loneliness by running:
  • Workshops in the community

  • Requested sessions for charities and groups

  • Painting murals for community groups (who couldn’t afford one otherwise)

  • Art projects that reach a wide audience and a finale event for all

  • Running workshops at our base

  • Classes from some local Guest Artists

All sessions we run we try to make as cheap and accessible as possible.

Our next community project for 2026 is called What the Flock? The Seaquell.

This is to celebrate the 5th anniversary of our hugely successful What the Flock? project involving those pom-pom sheep!  For the ‘Seaquell’ we have asked individuals and community organisations to make a 3D seagull out of any art medium of their choosing.

We will be displaying the seagulls in The Dock Museum (Barrow) on April 22nd to May 3rd, and in The Bridge (Barrow) on April 25th to May 3rd.

We will have a silent auction where you can bid on any pieces you like, and all the monies raised will be split between Northwest Blood Bikes and Artworks Art4ALL, both of whom are run solely by dedicated volunteers. So why not come along and see these amazing seagulls!
